Introducing synthmax

synthmax puts a complete modular synthesizer studio inside a single plugin for your DAW. Drag modules onto the workbench, connect them with patch cables and play. Oscillators, filters, envelopes, sequencers and effects wire together any way you like, just like a hardware modular rack, with no limit on cables. Patch one voice and synthmax plays it in chords, up to 16 notes at once.

Every sound is synthesized. There are no sample libraries anywhere in synthmax. Its concert grand, tonewheel and pipe organs, guitars, strings, woodwinds and brass are all built from its own 49 modules: physical models of bowed strings, reeds and brass, a resonant instrument body, a room simulator that computes real acoustics, and classic analog-style voices that respond to every nuance of your playing.
